Peter ("Leo") McCarthy - Bass, Vocals

Bassist Peter McCarthy resides in Carneys Point N.J. He has performed at numerous venues from Texas to New York. Peter studied composition and theory at Rowan University. He has also studied privately with Gregg Powers, Joe Allegro, Bruce Kaminsky and Fred Weiss. Peter currently teaches at Mannington Music School as well as privately. He enjoys many styles of music! In addition to The Big Package Band, Peter also performs with The Steve Lewis Big Band, Jump Jive & Wail, The Peter McCarthy Group and local Theater/Jazz groups. Peter can also be found performing as a solo artist (Guitar/ Vocals) at various venues.
