Wes Morton - Drums

In the spring of 1983, Wesley Morton played the critical role of "Thumper" in the Martin Elementary School Production of "Bambi". The tap-dance sequences in the show were enough to convince him that he was a crappy dancer, and that he'd better learn to play an instrument. Thus began his musical career, and since then he's played with a bunch of different groups, including garage bands, the UConn Men's Basketball Pep Band, the Star of Indiana Drum and Bugle Corps, the wedding band "Lavender", the Royal Palm Steel Band, the Ellen Lebowitz Jazz Group, a lot of classical gigs and musical theater orchestras, and now the very funky drum chair in Big Package. When Wes is not hitting stuff, he's either teaching music in Wilmington, Delaware, or hanging out with his really cool wife and daughter, who, luckily, are much better dancers than he is.
